Overseer Marlon g. Knight
Ministry: Overseer Marlon G. Knight, endorsed by Ecclesiastical Fellowship Alliance under the Leadership of Bishop Henry J. Jarrett Sr. (2025- present). Also Served with Advancing the Kingdom of God Ministry, formerly served as the Southeast Region Overseer under 1st Presiding Bishop Ralph E. Lewis Sr. (2018-2024). He was ordained as Elder (Feb 2019) and later elevated to Overseer (July 2022). Since 2016, he has volunteered at Sightseeing Road Chapel, Fort Moore, GA, as Ministerial Staff, Bible Study Teacher, Prayer Team Member, and Men's Ministry Facilitator.
Military Service: A retired U.S. Army First Sergeant (1SG), Overseer Knight served 22 years (1992–2015) with 4 combat deployments to Iraq and 1 to Kosovo.
Background: A native of Sanford, FL, and now residing in Pittsview, AL, he is married to Samantha Knight and has three sons. He was raised in Morning Glory Missionary Baptist Church, Sanford, FL, where he began teaching Sunday School at age 7. He has since held teaching and leadership roles in multiple ministries, including Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ ( Hinesville, Ga. 2008-2011), Philippians Church of God in Christ (Columbus, Ga. 2012-2014), and New Heaven Church of God in Christ (Charlotte, Nc. 2015-2016)
Community Service: Overseer Knight is a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), serving as Treasurer and Certified Service Officer for R. George Isaacs Jr. Chapter 66, Phenix City, AL.
